what to wear on a rainy day

Hi, today is another beautiful day to be alive. It’s raining in Korea, and I have an appointment with my friend today. So, I’m wearing a comfortable yet stylish rainy day outfit. It’s really a good outfit choice for a rainy day.

I’m wearing cargo pants paired with an oversized knit sweater, topped off with my favorite hat. Sometimes, when I’m feeling tired of styling my hair, I find it convenient to just throw on this hat. It saves me energy and adds a nice touch to my look.

I particularly love the fit of these cargo pants—they’re not too wide, just right to  wear with the knit. When the pants are oversized, I usually pair them with a shorter top or a crop tee.

The oversized knit is a classic piece with a cute print, and since it’s black, it’s easy to match with other items. My bag is also adorable—it’s not too small, so I can fit all my essentials like lipstick, wallet, and makeup inside. The deep brown color is versatile and complements different outfits.

Moving on to accessories, today I’m layering two necklaces. The shorter one is a blue beads necklace, perfect for summer with its cute design and color. The longer one, my new favorite, is a silver necklace that adds an elegant touch and allows for easy layering with other pieces

My friend and I met in Shinchon, and we went to a pocha, which means “Pojang Macha.” It is a mobile food stall that plays a significant role in South Korea’s street food culture. These stalls, typically housed in small tents or makeshift structures, operate primarily at night. They offer a variety of foods and beverages, specializing in street food such as snacks, sundae (blood sausage), tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), hot dogs, and fried goods. Pojang Macha is a beloved cultural icon in Korea, regarded as a delightful experience to enjoy snacks on the street with friends or family.

We drank some soju with some good food and had a good time together. Also, taking sticker pictures is an essential part of the experience! Haha, don’t forget to visit a photobooth when you visit Korea.
